Implementation Note
This document is for acceptance when users purchase, subscribe to, install or deploy third-party apps/templates from Discover.
Scope and Third-Party Developer Products
These terms apply when you browse, try, install, purchase, subscribe to, tip, deploy or use third-party apps, templates, services, components, AI tools, APIs or listings on PocketBay Discover (collectively, "Developer Products").
Except where expressly identified as an official PocketBay product, Developer Products on Discover are provided by third-party developers. PocketBay may provide discovery, hosting, payment, deployment, distribution or payout functionality, but does not thereby become the author, seller, service provider, guarantor or co-operator of Developer Products.
Before purchasing or using a Developer Product, you should review its description, price, subscription period, permissions, privacy policy, user terms, support method, refund statement, data processing, dependent services, risks and suitability.
Purchases, Subscriptions, Refunds and Fees
Developer Products may be free, trial-based, one-time purchase, subscription, tip-based, usage-based, resource-pack-based, enterprise-quoted or otherwise monetized. Prices, taxes, fees, currencies, renewals, cancellations, refunds, upgrades, downgrades and entitlements are governed by the purchase page, order, developer statements, PocketBay billing policy and third-party payment-provider rules at the time of purchase.
Unless the developer or PocketBay expressly states in writing or law requires otherwise, paid fees are generally non-refundable. If refunds, chargebacks, fraud, violations, developer removal, service termination, technical failures or disputes occur, PocketBay may decide whether to process refunds, cancellations, deductions, credits or alternative measures, but does not guarantee refunds.
Subscriptions may renew automatically until canceled. Cancellation usually takes effect at the end of the current billing period and does not mean a refund of incurred fees, used services or current-period fees.
Data, Permissions and Risks
Installing or using Developer Products may require granting permissions to code, projects, logs, databases, files, environment variables, domains, APIs, third-party services, accounts or teams. You should grant only necessary permissions and understand that Developer Products may read, write, process, transmit, modify, delete, publish or generate data.
PocketBay does not guarantee that Developer Products are safe, lawful, compliant, vulnerability-free, non-malicious, continuously available, free from data loss, compatible with your project or able to meet your business objectives. You should back up, test, monitor, review permissions and evaluate the developer's privacy policy.
If a Developer Product causes data loss, service interruption, security incident, increased costs, third-party claims, end-user complaints or compliance issues, you should first contact the developer; PocketBay may assist with platform issues, but is not responsible for third-party Developer Products unless required by law.
Removal, Termination and Entitlement Changes
PocketBay or developers may modify, suspend, remove, terminate, replace, downgrade or stop supporting Developer Products. Removal or modification of a Discover listing may affect your access, use, updates, subscriptions, deployments, payments, refunds or data export.
PocketBay does not guarantee that any Developer Product will remain listed, updated, compatible, supported or maintain original prices/features/entitlements. You should keep necessary backups and assess impacts on production operations.
If a Developer Product violates policy, poses security risk, triggers complaints, has non-payment, is unlawful, infringes rights, has a terminated developer account or depends on interrupted third-party services, PocketBay may restrict or stop access without prior notice.
